Custom Email Domain
Send emails from your own address by verifying your domain.
By default, emails send from the platform's shared address. To send from your own address instead (e.g. orders@yourbrand.com), connect your domain through SES verification in the email customizer:
- 1
Add your domain
Enter the domain you own; this creates (or retrieves) a sending identity for it.
- 2
Add the DNS records
Copy the verification/DKIM records shown and add them at your domain's DNS provider.
- 3
Check verification
Once DNS has propagated, recheck the domain — its status updates to verified.
- 4
Set sender details
Enter a sender email (must be on the verified domain), a sender name, and an optional reply-to address, save, then send yourself a test email to confirm it works.
- 5
Activate it
Turn the domain on so it becomes the sender for all outgoing emails going forward.
Only one domain can be active at a time, and custom domains require SES to be enabled at the account level — if you don't see the option, it isn't available on your plan yet.
