Platforms
The same event runs on the web, iOS, iPadOS, macOS, Android, and Windows — with a few platform-specific differences.
Web
Open in any modern browser. No login is required for guests to go through an event; only the admin area requires signing in.
iOS, iPadOS, macOS & Android (kiosk apps)
Always authenticated
Unlike the web, the native apps require sign-in at all times — they're built to run as a dedicated kiosk, not something you hand a guest to open on their own.
Native Bluetooth
Niimbot printer pairing uses the device's native Bluetooth stack instead of the browser.
Native camera & safe areas
Uses the device camera directly and respects notches/home-indicator safe areas.
Apple Pencil (iPadOS)
On iPad, the app optimizes drawing for Apple Pencil: in the Draw tool it prioritizes Pencil input and ignores palm and finger touches, so guests can sketch or sign naturally.
Windows (desktop kiosk app)
Always authenticated
Like the mobile apps, sign-in is required at all times; "Sign up" is hidden.
System pairing dialog
Bluetooth pairing goes through the OS's own device-selection prompt.
Can run the print server
The same Windows PC can run as a kiosk and run the Print Server companion app in the background, so it also acts as the print server other devices on the network connect to.
Finding a print server from any app
Every app — web, iOS, Android, and Windows — discovers a print server the same way: automatically, over Wi-Fi, as long as the device is on the same network as the Windows PC running the print server. If auto-discovery doesn't find it (a different subnet or VLAN, for example), enter its IP address and port manually from the print dialog. The print server itself only needs to run on one Windows PC; every kiosk and device on that network can then send jobs to it.
Getting the apps
The iOS/iPadOS/macOS, Android, and Windows apps, along with the Windows Print Server, are all available from the Resources page.
Choosing a platform
Use the web app for one-off events accessed on a guest's own device. Use the native iOS/Android/desktop kiosk app for a dedicated, always-on station — especially if you need offline support or a Bluetooth receipt printer connected persistently.
