Offer several linked sub-configurations from one landing page with child events, each with its own canvas, toolbar, export, and AI settings.

    What are child events?

Child Events let one landing page offer several linked sub-configurations — for example, different products or sizes, or different templates for kids vs. adults. A parent event owns the landing page. Each child event inherits that landing page but has its own canvas, toolbar, export, and AI settings, and can have its own event templates. Guests pick one from a selection screen before continuing. This is a Pro-plan feature.

    Enabling and adding child events

    1. 1

      Enable Child Events

Open the parent event, go to the Advanced (Pro) tab, and turn on Enable Child Events.

    2. 2

      Add a child

On the Events page, click Add Child on the parent event row, enter a Child Name, and click Create Child Event.

    3. 3

      Configure the child

Open the child event to set its canvas, toolbar, export, and AI settings. It inherits its landing page from the parent.

    4. 4

      Add templates (optional)

Use Manage Templates on the child event to give guests several designs to pick from.

    5. 5

      Check the order

Expand or collapse a parent row to see its children, and set the order the cards appear in.

    What guests see

Guests open the parent event's link and see a selection screen with a card for each child event. After choosing one, they continue through that child event's flow: template selection if it has several templates, an optional survey, and then the editor.

    Managing child events

Child events are managed from the parent event row on the Events page:

    Add Child

Create a new child event under a parent.

    Duplicate a child

Copy a child event, including its settings and related data, to reuse it under a parent event.

    Selection settings

Use Child Event Selection Settings on the parent row to style the screen guests use to pick a child event.

    Duplicate or delete a parent

Duplicating or deleting a parent event includes all of its child events and their data, so check the confirmation list before you continue.

    Compare in analytics

The Event Analytics view compares views, orders, revenue, and surveys across the parent and its child events.

    Styling the selection screen

Style the child event selection screen so it matches the rest of your event. The page title, background, card styling, and Continue button are covered in Child Event Selection page.

Child Events are available on the Pro plan. See Billing & Credits for plan details.
